The 13th annual Sunshine Northeast Showcase will be held at the College of Staten Island in Staten Island, NY June 9-10. This highlight event, one of five “Sunshine” showcases held across the country in early June to kick off the summer baseball season, has grown into the largest of the Sunshine events and perhaps the most heavily scouted by college coaches. In addition to being the first opportunity for many top young prospects to be evaluated by Perfect Game scouts, the Sunshine series is also the last opportunity for players to earn an invitation to the prestigious Perfect Game National and Junior National Showcases in mid-June.
